Pilgrimage to Israel

Dan and I have saved our pennies for a long while for a trip to the Holy Land.  We finally made the journey last week.  We are tired.  Every part of our bodies ache from the constant climbing and travel.  Our spirits are high.  The trip was more than we could have ever expected or hoped for.

Zacchaeus Tree- Jericho
Jesus entered Jericho and was passing through.  A man was there by the name of Zacchaeus; he was a chief tax collector and was wealthy. He wanted to see who Jesus was, but because he was short he could not see over the crowd. So he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore-fig tree to see him, since Jesus was coming that way.  Luke 19:1-4

I tried to take notes of our day to day adventures. I did manage to scribble some here and there.  We were constantly on the go from sun up to sun down.

I will be posting some of those notes over the next few days.  As our bodies and memories recover, we will share more of our experiences in this Holy Land!
